I work as a freelance translator for the Logos Group Translation Service in Modena. I have been studying applied translation in the audiovisual media for about three years. In 1997 I took part as freelance teacher to the German language workshop sessions of the "Course in Multimedia Translation" organized by the Advanced Institute of Modern Languages for Translators of Bologna University.

1995

Degree in translation at the Advanced Institute of Modern Languages for Translators of Triest University (100/110). I studied foreign languages (German and Russian) and linguistics. My degree thesis was an analysis about post-synchronisation in Wim Wenders' movies, in particular as regards his film 'Der Himmel über Berlin' ('Wings of Desire').

I like music, most of all jazz, but also classical music. I have been playing drums and percussion since 1981, when I bought my first Yamaha 5000 drumkit. Then I played in several rock groups in the Trieste area. Now I play my Tama Rockstar Pro drumkit with UFIP cymbals - the best handcrafted cymbals of the world, produced in Pistoia, the town where I come from !!! From 1992 until 1995 I worked as a DJ for a little radio network, so I had the chance to interview some great musicians, such as: Steve Coleman, Steve Lacy, Peter Erskine, Mike Mainieri.
